Immediate Hire - Electrician

We’re seeking a skilled and safety-driven industrial Electrician to support operations at a leading manufacturing site in Clayton. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in precision fault finding and automation expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs across automated can-making and packaging lines
• Diagnose and resolve faults in high-speed forming, coating, and palletizing equipment
• Work with PLC systems (PLC2 through to current platforms) for diagnostics and programming
• Uphold strict safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently

Qualifications & Experiences

• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, ideally within high-volume manufacturing
• Strong fault finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency with PLC2 and newer PLC platforms (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Trade qualification in Electrical and current Victorian A-Grade Licence
• Safety-first mindset with a solid understanding of WHS standards
